Session Details
Opening (10:00 - 10:15)
Content:
- Host greetings
- Confirm today’s goal
- Timetable explanation
- Notes (Wi-Fi, restrooms, etc.)
Goal:
Create one “working thing” by the end of today and demo it for everyone
Introductions & Idea Sharing (10:15 - 10:30)
Format: 1 minute per person
What to share:
- Name, department
- What you want to build today (in one sentence)
- Your enthusiasm
Points:
- No need for a perfect explanation
- “I want to build something like this” is enough
Development Time (10:30 - 12:00 / 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM)
Format: Individual development + mentor support
How it works:
- Develop on your own PC
- Ask neighbors or mentors when stuck
- “Can you take a look?” is very welcome
- Share progress briefly every 30 minutes or so (optional)
Mentor role:
- Walk around and support those having trouble
- Answer technical questions
- Give direction advice
Lunch Networking (12:00 - 1:00 PM)
Content:
- Exchange ideas over lunch
- Share morning progress
- Discuss challenges and solutions
- Share questions and insights
Points:
- Taking a complete break is OK
- Continuing development is also OK
Presentation Prep (4:30 PM - 5:00 PM)
Tasks:
- Verify demo works
- Organize presentation flow
- Take screenshots (insurance if demo doesn’t work)
What to present (3 minutes):
- What you built (30 seconds)
- Demo (1 minute 30 seconds)
- What you worked on / struggled with (30 seconds)
- What you want to do next (30 seconds)
Show & Tell (5:00 PM - 5:45 PM)
Format: 3 minutes Ă— 8 people = about 25 minutes + Q&A
Flow:
- Connect screen (HDMI or AirPlay)
- 3 minutes for demo & explanation
- Q&A time (1-2 questions)
Notes:
- It’s OK if not complete
- Show “how far you got”
- Errors are fine, talk about the process
Closing (5:45 PM - 6:00 PM)
