Session Details

Opening (10:00 - 10:15)

Content:

  • Host greetings
  • Confirm today’s goal
  • Timetable explanation
  • Notes (Wi-Fi, restrooms, etc.)

Goal:

Create one “working thing” by the end of today and demo it for everyone

Introductions & Idea Sharing (10:15 - 10:30)

Format: 1 minute per person

What to share:

  1. Name, department
  2. What you want to build today (in one sentence)
  3. Your enthusiasm

Points:

  • No need for a perfect explanation
  • “I want to build something like this” is enough

Development Time (10:30 - 12:00 / 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM)

Format: Individual development + mentor support

How it works:

  • Develop on your own PC
  • Ask neighbors or mentors when stuck
  • “Can you take a look?” is very welcome
  • Share progress briefly every 30 minutes or so (optional)

Mentor role:

  • Walk around and support those having trouble
  • Answer technical questions
  • Give direction advice

Lunch Networking (12:00 - 1:00 PM)

Content:

  • Exchange ideas over lunch
  • Share morning progress
  • Discuss challenges and solutions
  • Share questions and insights

Points:

  • Taking a complete break is OK
  • Continuing development is also OK

Presentation Prep (4:30 PM - 5:00 PM)

Tasks:

  • Verify demo works
  • Organize presentation flow
  • Take screenshots (insurance if demo doesn’t work)

What to present (3 minutes):

  1. What you built (30 seconds)
  2. Demo (1 minute 30 seconds)
  3. What you worked on / struggled with (30 seconds)
  4. What you want to do next (30 seconds)

Show & Tell (5:00 PM - 5:45 PM)

Format: 3 minutes Ă— 8 people = about 25 minutes + Q&A

Flow:

  1. Connect screen (HDMI or AirPlay)
  2. 3 minutes for demo & explanation
  3. Q&A time (1-2 questions)

Notes:

  • It’s OK if not complete
  • Show “how far you got”
  • Errors are fine, talk about the process

Closing (5:45 PM - 6:00 PM)

Content:

  • Overall reflection
  • Share highlights
  • Next camp announcement
  • Survey request
  • Group photo

Participant Checklist

  • Laptop (Mac)
  • Charger
  • Environment setup complete (from pre-setup session)
  • Idea of what you want to build
